Cheribella's offering blog candy

Cheribella is offering some great blog candy. All ya gotta do is make something for Halloween and....wait, just go read it on her blog. You had better hurry though! All entries must be in by September 27th! Put on your thinking caps and get busy! This card is my entry. I stamped the flying witch stamp from Inkadinkado's Halloween Trails. (Isnt their name just the funnest!) I gotta tell ya, I LOVE LOVE LOVE clear stamps! I used Ranger's Inkssentials black embossing ink from the Big & bossy stamp pad. I covered the stamped image with Ranger's Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder in black. Since I don't have an embossing buddy or anything similar, I knew the embossing powder would leave flecks on my page. Thats what I wanted with this stamp. Yes, I tried wiping the paper with a used dryer sheet, it still doesnt keep all the powder from sticking to the unstamped part of the paper. After heat embossing the stamped image, I cut out a circle to use as a mask for the moon. I then used my brayer to apply Sienna ink from my Ancient Page ink pad. I'm still new to using a brayer so I wasnt very happy with the result. I then used a makeup sponge to add Ancient Page Sage ink all over the card surface. Then I added Ancient Page Flannel Gray ink around the edges of the card and a little through the middle. NOW, I was happy with the inking. lol I matted the card front onto glossy black cardstock. I then layered it onto a light orange sheet of Bazzill that I had inked with the Sage. I then matted that onto a darker orange sheet of Bazzill that I am using as the card base. I inked the edges of that with the Flannel Gray. I also used the spider and bat stamps fron this set to decorate the inside of the card. I would post a picture of that but my camera is not cooperating with me today. I used gray chalk to color parts of the moon so it didnt look like just a white circle on my card. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
